You don’t know me yet but the only reason you are reading this now is that you are facing a big problem and it’s a problem that can get much worse than you think.  You may be divorced, divorcing, separated or going through a child support battle under Texas Divorce Laws and the one thing you need most now is correct information.  So read on and learn.....

A little about me and why you need to read this.  I am a divorced father and a attorney.  Obviously, since I am in the legal system I should have been able to take advantage of it and make out like a bandit in my divorce.

WRONG, I was very naïve about the whole industry of divorce that has sprung up in this country.  See, if your spouse wants to make your life a living hell and make you face financial ruin there are many people ready to help that process.

The problem that I encountered was that I did not know what types of dirty tricks that ex-spouses, lawyers, the court system and society could play.  I was like a lamb being fed to the wolves.  Please keep reading my pain is going to help you hopefully avoid those “dirty tricks” that can ruin yours and your children’s lives.

I will never forget this eye opening story about how low a spouse can go to get you.  A good friend of mine was just finishing law school.  His whole world was opening up before him and he felt ready to go.  All he had left to do was pass the bar and the money would come flowing in.  I remember him telling me the surprise he received when he was walking into his bar examination…He was served with divorce papers. 

That’s right on the most important day of his life he was served with divorce papers moments before his examination.  Obviously, he was shocked and thrown out of his game plan for the exam. 

Now why do I tell this story?  I always try and emphasize that no trick is to low to an ex-spouse in a divorce and you have to be prepared to counter all of them…

That’s right you have to have the skills, knowledge and most important the mental courage to counter these dirty divorce tricks.

Now my friend faced all of the normal things that happen in a divorce.  You know:

• Financial ruin

• Loss of seeing his children

• Loss of helping raise his children

• Being thrown out of his house (with no notice)

• His bank account seized or taken

• Having to pay thousands of dollars to attorneys

Like I said, those are the normal things that happen in a divorce.  Now my friend was a man but it can easily happen in the reverse to a women:

• Financial ruin

• Losing your home

• Finding the bank account emptied

• Not receiving a penny in support

See the tricks go both ways.  While it is easier to play dirty divorce on a man (we really are naïve and are easily tricked) Dirty Divorce Tricks go both ways.

• This can’t happen to me (Sure)

• Me and my spouse will be married for ever (Check the stats)

• He/She wouldn’t do something so low. (Divorce makes people crazy)

• Our divorce is uncontested (I really love hearing this one)

Well, I want you to take two minutes to think of all the people you know who have gotten a divorce over the years.  Think about all of the Texas divorce horror stories that you have heard of…Still think that it could not happen to you.

Again back to my story.  I did not really understand what happens in a divorce.  Over the years I have found that divorce attorneys are really not like regular attorneys. (I know people think how can something be worse than a regular attorney)  Take my advice they are different.  There job is to make money off you misery….They don’t care one bit about you or your problem."

Your divorce attorney does not care about you and your problem.  You are there for the sole purpose of putting his kids through college or to pay for his sports car.  Once you get that through you head you can start to understand how the whole system is set up against you. 

To you this is the most personal thing that you can go through in your life.  You have to air out your dirty laundry with a stranger….and this stranger does not really care.

Now to make matters worse here is your second free tip:

Yes you will be going in front of a person, (a judge) who could care less on whether you are financially ruined by this divorce.  The judge’s only care is that case proceeds orderly through the courtroom.  Now you may have noticed that I said orderly and not quickly.  The judge does not care if your divorce takes 1 year or 4 years to get through the court system.

In fact I appeared before one judge (remember I am an attorney) in a civil case.  Right before my civil case hearing was a divorce hearing.  I sat and chatted with the judge and he candidly told me that he had grown up with these kids.  I asked him what he meant.  He said that this couple had been fighting for over 15 years over various things.  He said that he had grown up with their kids because every couple of months they parents would come and fight over them. 

That is not only SAD but it is horrible to think about.  Over 15 years of fighting and I am sure that all they had accomplished was to screw up their children.

Again, the only way to get out of a divorce with you sanity is to understand what horrible things can happen to you.  Once you understand the tricks of the trade you can prevent them.

I always love an example from my child hood.  Remember back to when you were a child and an older relative or uncle would take his finger and put it on your chest.  He would say, “what’s that”.  The moment you looked down he would pop you in the face.  This is a common child hood prank.  Well after you had seen the trick played on others or yourself you could recognize what they were trying to pull. 

That is what we want to teach you. 

You may have noticed that we will not show you how to pull dirty tricks on your ex-spouse.  I have been through the hell of having it pulled on me and will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER teach or advocate anyone pulling a dirty divorce trick.

Think about it.  Your ex-spouse, her attorney and probably your attorney wants the divorce to continue on and on (remember the couple above who fought for 15 years) Our job is to teach you how to stop the insanity of divorce.

Have people used are information to pull dirty tricks on their ex-wives and husbands.  I am sure they have but I say shame on them.

Well let me again tell you my personal story.  Remember, I was the attorney who was getting the shaft in my personal divorce.  Well let me tell you this

Not only have I seen the tricks played but also I learned that I couldn’t win in divorce court.  I had the double whammy. 

See the court system knew I was an attorney.  Therefore, they figured that I was

• Trying to hide money

• Trying to work the system

• Taking advantage of the poor wife

• Basically that I should lose

I fell in trap after trap.  I thought the court system would be fair, impartial and that justice would be done…he. he.  I finally had to develop a system where I could win outside of the court system.  I always though that this was a funny one.  An attorney who couldn’t win in the court system developing a way to win outside of it.

with a last name that is not his actual last name. He has never had his name legally changed to 
the one he goes by. His first marriage was fraudulent. He married a foreign girl under the promise 
he would get money.  If nothing else  your info has taught me to really check a person out 
and know much more about them......lol

I wrote you some time ago about my situation where I had been married  only 2 years and she 
wanted an ungodly amount of Alimony, my house, car and  our 2 yr old son.  I am happy to report that 
my divorce is now final and I kept my house, my car, most of my property and I 
have custody of our two year old son which as I understand it is very difficult to accomplish.  



What's even more ironic is that you were right my ex did all of it to herself.  
As I recall all of the details it seems that the more she tried to hurt me in the process of things, 
the more she ultimately hurt herself.  There is something to be said for dotting your i's and crossing your
t's and for  keeping silent until you MUST speak and sticking to the facts and no truer truth was ever said 
when the statement was made....

Thanks much.  The wife told me that she wanted to separate on the very 
day that I returned to the states (I was gone from home appx  ten months since 
9/11 and must leave again for four months in the Spring.  I haven't been serve papers...AS YET.

Hey A.J. you were right this is the “Dirtiest Trick Ever”



You talked about ex-wives and husbands spying.  This really happened to a friend of mine 
who is now getting divorced.



 While still together, his wife put one of those 
tracking" programs on their  shared computer, unbeknownst to him.  
When she left him, she was still able to access his activities from a remote location. 
Once he was able to figure  this out, he erased his entire hard drive, 
but  unfortunately, forgot to password protect his internet account.   
He merely called the  ISP and had her name removed from the account.)  
She was then  able to access his internet account from a remote location and via a 
"password sniffing" program, was able to access all of his free internet  email accounts. 
(i.e. yahoo,hotmail etc) In addition, he would be chatting on the yahoo messenger 
and for no apparent  reason, be disconnected with a message "you have been 
logged off because this account has been logged on to from another location." True story.



p.s. when password protecting your internet account,
be certain to touch base with both the billing and technical support departments.

You are so right the court is soooo slow!  My divorce papers were served 
September 10. The court don't even have my orders yet, since 
it takes the Clerk of Courts 2-3 weeks to send them the orders!  
When I asked why it takes so long?  Answer:  It just does! 
My opinion of the court system so far:  it stinks! 
I know that I have to get out of the court system quick or I will go crazy.

The judge has discriminated  against me my attorney does not seem to care.
